About Me

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and outdoor enthusiast. I started taking writing seriously in 2006. I have a novel in progress. I have published three small pieces in university presses, but I wouldn't call myself a professional. Writing is my passion. Fiction, personal essays, and poetry. Being a retired nurse gives me plenty of time for writing.

  • Hobbies/Interests: I have a small prairie planted in my side lot that takes a lot of my time. I have written and published two pieces that my prairie has inspired. My other hobbie is fishing, fly fishing in particular. My husband and I spend a lot of good weather in our Charlie Brown fishing boat. Bass fishing, muskie fishing, northern pike fishing. Camping and canoeing also favorite sports. I have done a lot of furniture refurnishing and enjoy making shelves in the garage.
