Getting your book published...

My books all set and ready to go...except I don't like the cover my graphics artist designed for me. :(

We fought like an old married couple throughout the entire thing. After my surgery, he disappeared for almost a month, and now the book is completely finished, editing, interior designs, everything and the cover is not really to my liking. And to me, covers, especially for an unknown like me, are really important. That's the first thing a customer notices, your cover. Word of advice for anyone getting ready to publish anything, get working on your cover as you edit, otherwise you'll get stuck with a great book without a cover.(sigh). I recieved a proof copy of my book today in the mail. I was so excited! It had that new book smell...I just need a decent cover!!!!! Is anybody else getting ready to publish? I heard writingwildly just got an offer from Berkley publishing for her UNDER THE SAME SKIES novel! Isn't that great!

Finallly! Fallen Angel is now available for electronic download at www.createspace.com/3472588. It should begin appearing in amazon.com in the next two weeks, I was told. Now I need to reformat for kindle. hardwork but worth it.

Cover work is problematic I'm finding. I've got someone commissioned to do some cover design for me, but I'm still waiting for a first proof from them. If they take too long, I will just have to take the design work into my own hands.
